Authorities arrested Ocean Breeze Allen in Jupiter on Tuesday after a search following DCF allegations turned up multiple firearms and marijuana containers accessible to children—she now faces charges for child abuse and improper firearm storage—and she was transported to Palm Beach County Jail.

Maybelline— a wood duck rescued by Busch Wildlife Sanctuary in Jupiter Farms— was brought in after a family surrendered her because keeping wood ducks as pets is illegal and she cannot survive on her own.

The sanctuary is caring for over 1,000 orphaned baby animals during baby season and will help them learn survival skills.
