- ➤ Authorities arrested Ocean Breeze Allen in Jupiter on Tuesday after a search following DCF allegations turned up multiple firearms and marijuana containers accessible to children—she now faces charges for child abuse and improper firearm storage—and she was transported to Palm Beach County Jail. ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Maybelline— a wood duck rescued by Busch Wildlife Sanctuary in Jupiter Farms— was brought in after a family surrendered her because keeping wood ducks as pets is illegal and she cannot survive on her own. The sanctuary is caring for over 1,000 orphaned baby animals during baby season and will help them learn survival skills. The Palm Beach Post

- ➤ The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office is hosting a public meeting next week at the Palm Beach Airport Hilton on April 10th at 11 a.m.—Sheriff Ric Bradshaw will explain how deputies will work with federal agencies to detain only those illegal immigrants linked to crime.
