Community Kirtan

About this event

Community Kirtan is a space to come together, make music, open our hearts and connect through mantra. Rooted in the devotional traditions of India, this practice brings people together through singing and call-and-response chanting. You don’t need to know the words, have a good singing voice or have any previous experience. Just come as you are. Led by Eve on harmonium and vocals, we’ll move through traditional mantras, devotional chants and some unexpected fusions of mantra and familiar songs. You’re welcome to sing loudly, sing softly, move, listen or simply take it all in. There’s something special that happens when a room full of people begin to sing together. Come experience it with us.
