- ➤ On Tuesday afternoon, rescuers from Palm Beach County Ocean Rescue saved a 48-year-old swimmer caught in a rip current near Carlin Park — the man was safely brought to shore and later taken to the hospital in stable condition. WPTV
BUSINESS NEWS
- ➤ On Christmas Eve, several Florida stores including Publix (open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.), Target (open until midnight) and Costco (open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.) operated on reduced hours, and most stores are closed today. Palm Beach Daily News
- ➤ Costco warehouses in Florida ran shortened hours on Christmas Eve with Executive members opening at 9 a.m. and others at 10 a.m., closing at 5 p.m. They are closed on Christmas Day and will resume regular hours Friday (Dec. 26). Palm Beach Daily News
