  • Little Smiles delivered holiday toys to children, as WPBF 25 reported yesterday. The organization continues its efforts to spread cheer in the community.  WPBF
  • Hundreds gathered at Juno Beach on Dec. 14 to view the sand-sculpted menorah that returned two years after vandals destroyed its previous version — a community event that reestablished a local tradition.  The Palm Beach Post

CULTURE NEWS

  • Local families prepare to celebrate Hanukkah, the festival of lights, beginning at sundown on Sunday, Dec. 14 and lasting through Dec.22 as they light menorahs and enjoy traditional foods to honor the Temple’s rededication (a ritual marking a historic miracle).  WPBF
  • Chabad of Palm Beach Gardens held its Hanukkah festival on Sunday with heightened security hours after an antisemitic attack in Sydney killed a close friend of Rabbi Dovid Vigler. The event (marking its 20th anniversary) featured a menorah lighting and is part of a series of local celebrations.  WPBF

  • A condo board voted to remove its president on Dec. 14 but he did not step down because the notice did not include the removal item; attorney Ryan Poliakoff advised the board to call another meeting with 48-hour notice to properly vote on his removal.  The Palm Beach Post
