- ➤ Hundreds gathered at Juno Beach on Dec. 14 to view the sand-sculpted menorah that returned two years after vandals destroyed its previous version — a community event that reestablished a local tradition. The Palm Beach Post
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Local families prepare to celebrate Hanukkah, the festival of lights, beginning at sundown on Sunday, Dec. 14 and lasting through Dec.22 as they light menorahs and enjoy traditional foods to honor the Temple’s rededication (a ritual marking a historic miracle). WPBF
- ➤ Chabad of Palm Beach Gardens held its Hanukkah festival on Sunday with heightened security hours after an antisemitic attack in Sydney killed a close friend of Rabbi Dovid Vigler. The event (marking its 20th anniversary) featured a menorah lighting and is part of a series of local celebrations. WPBF
