- ➤ The nonprofit formerly known as Suits for Seniors celebrated 10 years with a gala at The Breakers in West Palm Beach and announced its new name, Career Ready. State Rep. Jervontae Edmonds founded the group and said the program helped nearly 3500 students gain professional skills—like Scarlett Acosta, a Forest Hill High School graduate who now studies prelaw at the University of Miami and serves in the U.S. Air Force.
