- ➤ Florida gas prices dropped by two cents today to $2.90 per gallon—AAA credits a robust global supply and a seasonal dip in gasoline demand for the low average, which is the lowest since December 2023. CBS12 News
- ➤ The Urban League of Palm Beach County will restart the Senior Community Service Employment Program for older workers on the first weekend of November despite funding uncertainty. The Aug. 31 shutdown left 225 seniors without work, and the League will front funds (to cover gaps in benefits and daily needs) to ensure the program gets back on track. WPTV
