- ➤ Project Thanksgiving is underway to feed families in need as donation boxes are available at several iTHINK Financial branches in Palm Beach County from Oct. 12 until the Day of Giving on November 13. The 35-year campaign asks community members to donate nonperishable food or money—each gift helping to stock the Palm Beach County Food Bank and offer warm meals this holiday season. CBS12 News
- ➤ High school seniors Ella Guagliano and Sienna Barboni run Petal Forward to deliver donated flower bouquets to seniors at local nursing homes and a VA hospital in Jupiter. They plan to expand their service—encouraging more flower donations—and build lasting connections with residents—believing small acts can bring big joy. CBS12 News

- ➤ The National Hurricane Center said Invest 97L—a tropical wave in the Atlantic—could form into a tropical depression next week. Late last week, a nor'easter brought coastal flooding to Jupiter, but no hurricane threat is expected at this time. Palm Beach Daily News
REAL ESTATE NEWS
- ➤ A condo owner in Jupiter left the thermostat at 77 degrees over the summer and ended up with mold growth as the air conditioner did not sufficiently dehumidify the unit. The insurance policy did not cover the damage because it was not a sudden loss—so the condo association may seek to recover repair costs from the owner. The Palm Beach Post
