  • Haley Walsh launched her nonprofit Read Like Royalty four months ago—using princess-led storytime in schools, libraries and hospitals to help kids fall in love with reading. ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • Hurricane Erin was a Category 4 storm as of Monday morning and is forecast to grow stronger while moving northwest off the coast. Florida beaches will face life-threatening surf and dangerous rip currents with waves reaching 7-10 feet (forecast from the National Weather Service) from today through midweek.  Palm Beach Daily News
  • Hurricane Erin will bring high surf and dangerous rip currents to Jupiter by mid-week as its 130 mph winds create 6–8 foot waves while another storm area may develop behind it—today, residents enjoy sunny skies with temperatures in the lower 90s.  WPBF
