Local weather updates indicate that 91-L in the Gulf may develop into Tropical Storm Bertha while high pressure is steering it away from our area.
Today, residents can expect hot and humid conditions + scattered showers with breezy winds later this week.
🏥 Health
Produce supplier Taylor Farms is recalling shredded iceberg lettuce distributed from June 29 to July 16 in Florida (and 26 other states) due to potential Cyclospora contamination, so consumers should discard any product immediately as investigations continue.
🏈 Sports
Benjamin School students organized a 3-on-3 basketball fundraiser that raised over $100,000 to build a new sports field and update equipment for Kijana Global Innovation School in a small western Kenyan village.
Local supporters in Palm Beach County also donated items (soccer balls, lacrosse sticks, volleyballs, iPads) to complete the project.
