COMMUNITY NEWS

  • Meals on Wheels of the Palm Beaches delivers six fresh meals three days a week to homebound older adults this summer while asking for more volunteers and donations. The organization will seek funds to upgrade its new West Palm Beach headquarters at the end of the year—adding a new kitchen to help expand its services.  WPBF
  • Speak Up for Kids has launched a Foster Youth Resource Concierge Program in Palm Beach County to help teens in foster care prepare for adulthood. The program gives one-on-one support with school choices, paperwork, and job skills—helping youths like 18-year-old Ashlyn who will start cosmetology school this Fall and marking growth from one referral to nearly two dozen.  CBS12 News

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • The Jupiter Bridge on U.S. 1 will close for all traffic from July 25 at 11 p.m. until July 28 at 6 a.m. for testing and alignment as part of a $122 million upgrade that began in March 2023 — detours are available via Indiantown Road and Alternate A1A with intermittent closures ending in early 2026.  The Palm Beach Post
