  • Registration for the annual Turkey Trot 5K is now open and will start at 7:30 a.m. on November 27 at Bradley Park, with about 1,600 participants running a course to Lake Trail and back + funds raised being used to provide Thanksgiving meals for needy residents.  Palm Beach Daily News

CRIME NEWS

  • Palm Beach County Sheriff's deputies are seeking help after a hit-and-run on July 3rd when a 21-year-old man was seriously injured near 827 Ridge Road as a passing car—believed to be a 2017—2021 Honda Civic missing its fog light trim—failed to see him and fled the scene.  WPBF

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Florida law enforcement must now have a clear reason—like speeding or missing safety equipment—before stopping boaters after the new Boater Freedom Act went into effect July 1st.
