- ➤ Riverbend Park in Jupiter spans 644 acres and has nearly 10 miles of trails for walking, hiking and biking—featuring a historic 2-mile River Walk Trail and a 1.25-mile Battlefield Trail with local history displays. The park also offers 7 miles of equestrian trails and 5 miles of waterways for canoeing and kayaking, and it is open from sunrise to sunset at 9060 Indiantown Road. The Palm Beach Post

- ➤ A Brightline train collided with a car in Lantana (around 1:55 p.m. today) along West Pine Street and Dixie Highway, killing the driver and closing the intersection as police investigate. WPTV

- ➤ Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office’s Human Trafficking Task Force arrested a duo for using force to traffic a victim to hotels in Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade counties where they reportedly pocketed all proceeds from the victim's commercial sex work—authorities say both suspects are held without bond. CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Riverbend Park in Jupiter has a long history where in 1838 U.S. forces fought Seminoles and free Black allies in a fierce two-hour battle that ended in a draw—this clash later led to the big grab, the largest capture of indigenous people under a white flag truce. Historians and reenactors say the battle still raises questions about freedom and survival in the area. The Palm Beach Post
