- ➤ Mega Bash is set to take place at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium in Downtown Abacoa starting July 3 — a two-day event with Palm Beach Cardinals vs. Jupiter Hammerheads games and tribute bands. - ➤ The Jupiter-Tequesta Repeater Group is hosting its annual 24-hour Field Day on the beach this weekend and amateur radio operators will compete to make the most contacts across the nation. - ➤ A Palm Beach County mother was indicted on a first-degree murder charge after investigators said her 7-year-old daughter died from blunt-force trauma while in her care & she remains held without bond at Palm Beach County Jail. WPBF

- ➤ The Florida Python Challenge will run from July 11 at 12:01 a.m. until July 20 at 5 p.m.—hunters compete for cash prizes by removing invasive Burmese pythons to protect local wildlife. Past captures include a snake measuring 19 feet long caught in 2023 and another weighing 215 pounds recorded in 2022—records that highlight the threat these snakes pose. Palm Beach Daily News
