Furry Friends is looking for a home for Oscar— a 2-year-old mixed breed dog who weighs about 70 pounds and recently graduated from a 12-week training program at Everglades Correctional Institution where he learned over 20 commands.
He is available for adoption at the Petco Love Mega Adoption event running today through June 29 and all adoption fees are waived.

FDOT announced that its railroad improvement project will force Northlake Boulevard to close at the intersection with Beeline Highway from July 25 for eight days—affecting about 70,000 drivers daily.
The agency is coordinating with first responders and advises using detour routes such as Seminole Pratt Whitney Road and Coconut Boulevard.
