  • Local school districts are fighting food insecurity by offering free meal pick-ups at area schools for children this summer— all five districts are taking part to help families in need.  WPTV

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • The Supreme Court revived plans to temporarily store nuclear waste at rural sites in Texas and New Mexico on Wednesday by a 6—3 vote, overturning a federal appeals court decision and reopening the path for 40—year licenses for facilities operated by Interim Storage Partners and Holtec International. The decision comes as spent fuel continues to accumulate at current and former nuclear plant sites.  WPBF

  • The Center for Child Counseling unveiled a 25-foot mental health mobile unit on Tuesday to offer on-the-go therapy, prevention, early intervention and education for children across Palm Beach County.
