- ➤ The new exhibit 'Roosters Rising' honors H.G. Roosters—Florida's oldest gay bar, which opened in 1984 during the AIDS crisis and rebuilt after a 2020 fire. The Richard and Pat Johnson Palm Beach County History Museum unveiled the exhibit Wednesday, and visitors can see it free until June 30. CBS12 News
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Palm Beach County Public Safety’s Animal Care and Control Division told pet owners to get ready for hurricane season by preregistering online for the Pet Friendly Shelter in Greenacres and making sure pets are vaccinated, microchipped, and tagged if they live in evacuation zones. The agency also said owners should pack a go bag with food, medicine, and supplies (including a recent photo for proof of ownership) to help keep their animals safe during emergencies. CBS12 News
