- ➤ A mother-daughter duo, Sheryl Kurland (69) and 93-year-old Bette Anne Leider, started the nonprofit Find Your Fabulosity in 2016 to help domestic violence survivors across Florida by donating lipstick and holding workshops. They have assisted over 100,000 victims through partnerships with more than 300 shelters, including two in Palm Beach County. CBS12 News

- ➤ Authorities dismantled a major drug trafficking ring in Palm Beach County this month that moved cocaine, meth, counterfeit pills and fentanyl laced with tranq—four suspects, including street-level dealers and higher-level distributors, are in custody facing multiple trafficking charges. - ➤ Pennywise—a 302-pound loggerhead sea turtle hit by a boat off the Atlantic coast—was taken to Jupiter Medical Center then to Palm Beach Equine Clinic in Wellington where a CT scan on equipment made for horses showed she is carrying eggs and is receiving treatment with high-powered antibiotics as staff prepare to release her back into the wild.
