  • Bishop Manuel de Jesus Rodriguez was installed as the sixth bishop on Feb. 24 and has visited parishes and schools in Palm Beach—he will host a listening session early next year to plan for growth and youth ministry.  WPBF

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • A green sea turtle named Earthica was rescued from Ocean Reef Park after a fishhook injured its mouth, rehabilitated at Loggerhead Marinelife Center (Juno Beach), and returned to the ocean Tuesday morning.  CBS12 News

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • At a town commission meeting on Tuesday, officials approved a redevelopment plan for an ocean rescue facility on Jupiter Island. The plan includes a new restroom (769 sqft), pavilion (1,320 sqft) and staff building (850 sqft), plus an 8-foot turf-block pathway to improve emergency vehicle access.  CBS12 News
