- ➤ Florida gas prices dropped by 7 cents to $3.05 per gallon — 46 cents lower than last year's rate — as AAA reported that 2.6 million Floridians are expected to travel 50 miles or more for Memorial Day weekend. AAA also noted that while prices may fluctuate, they will remain below last year's levels during the busy holiday travel period. CBS12 News
