  • The Town of Jupiter hosted its first e-bike safety festival on Saturday morning at Abacoa Community Park to teach safe biking after a child was injured in an e-bike crash. Local law officers led bike safety classes and organizers plan to hold the event every year—aiming to keep our roads safer.  WPTV

  • Ace Hardware will give away one million free American flags on Memorial Day weekend from Saturday, May 24 (11 a.m. to 2 p.m.) at participating stores as it honors the holiday. CRIME NEWS

  • At 7 p.m. Thursday, a 27-year-old suspect led a 100-mph chase on I-95 near Palm Beach Gardens—crashing his Mercedes SUV into a Tesla and resisting arrest during a five-minute struggle with troopers aided by two good Samaritans, with injuries sustained by both the suspect and the Tesla driver before transport to Jupiter Medical Center.  CBS12 News

  • Beachgoers watched a U.S. Coast Guard helicopter complete training at Carlin Park on May 17—demonstrating the unit’s readiness for emergency operations.  The Palm Beach Post
  • The town announced that lanes on North Ocean Boulevard will close on May 19 from 8 a.m. to noon for stormwater channel drain maintenance near Palm Beach Country Club. On May 20, lanes at two locations on North Lake Way will close for sanitary sewer lift station work — traffic will be rerouted from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.  Palm Beach Daily News

  • Jupiter Beach is a great spot for shark tooth hunting in Palm Beach County as warm water brings many sharks whose teeth wash up after summer storms.
