  • Boys Town South Florida held a Community Action Summit in Palm Beach Gardens to discuss juvenile delinquency and the need for early intervention—experts noted that family support, therapy, housing and financial aid can help keep young people on track. Executive Director Bethany Lacey said the event focused on connecting families with services to remove barriers to a healthy future.  CBS12 News

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • During alligator mating season from April to June, residents are advised not to feed or shoot alligators without a permit and to keep a safe distance, calling the free Nuisance Alligator Hotline at 866-392-4286 if a gator appears in their yard or pool. The state program handles removals by relocating gators under 4 feet and euthanizing larger nuisance gators to reduce risks.  The Palm Beach Post
