- ➤ On April 1, police executed a search warrant at Anthony Mattys' Lake Park home—where 16.3 pounds of marijuana, cocaine, methamphetamine, ketamine, and other drugs along with nine firearms were seized—while investigating his alleged drug trafficking. CBS12 News
- ➤ A Michigan man, Evan M. Hamilton (26), was arrested Monday after he allegedly harassed a South Florida online content creator by approaching her gated community and speaking via her doorbell surveillance system (charged with electronic threats and cyberstalking), and officers removed him when alerts were raised; he is now held without bail pending a mental health evaluation. - ➤ Palm Beach Gardens Police, Jupiter Police, the Palm Beach Sheriff's Office and the DEA arrested 26 year old Anthony Mattys—whose investigation began on March 15th—after a coordinated raid uncovered nine guns, magazines and related equipment as well as more than 16 pounds of controlled substances in his home. 610 WIOD

- ➤ Colorado State University experts forecast an above-normal Atlantic hurricane season with 17 named storms, nine hurricanes, and four major hurricanes. Dr. Phil Klotzbach said the tropical Atlantic is not as warm as last year—while still posing a 26% chance of a major hurricane landfall on the east coast including Florida and a 33% chance along the Gulf coast. 610 WIOD
