- ➤ Lauren’s Kids (a South Florida nonprofit) will host its 10th annual statewide walk this April to raise awareness on child sexual abuse prevention and support survivors. The event will cover 1500 miles from Boca to Tallahassee with stops at child advocacy centers to engage communities along the way. WPBF
- ➤ Larue Dahlberg was a cherished teacher who set up a scholarship fund 40 years ago in honor of her son Donnie after his fatal car accident on Christmas Eve, and she used her loss to help local students. The fund has given about $77,000 to 45 students and inspired 140 other funds—keeping her legacy alive—by supporting future scholars at Jupiter High School. CBS12 News
