- ➤ Palm Beach County Commissioners approved the purchase of LaQuinta Inn on Okeechobee Blvd in West Palm Beach to offer housing for seniors and veterans at risk of homelessness. Some Century Village residents oppose the decision—county officials said people will move in in three to six months and pay monthly rent ranging from $300 to $800. CBS12 News
