  • Palm Beach County residents honored 12-year-old Jupiter athlete Rico Roundtree by releasing memorial balloons at Abacoa Community Park after he was fatally struck by a car in an E-bike accident on Thursday —the Chabad Jewish Center of Jupiter will create the Rico Roundtree Scholarship Fund to honor his memory—.  CBS12 News

  • Residents in South Florida were warned about a more active brush fire season during WPBF 25's Brush Fire Awareness Week—Chief Certified Meteorologist Cris Martinez explained on Monday how fires spread and which neighborhoods were most at risk; the program began at 5 p.m. to help families prepare for ongoing risks.  WPBF

  • March is Colon Cancer Awareness Month and WPBF 25 interviewed doctors from Jupiter Medical Center about rising early onset cases and new treatment strategies—such as robotic surgery—that are boosting survival rates.
