About this event

Kitching Creek is a very beautiful part of the Loxahatchee River in Jonathan Dickinson State Park.

Join us Friday, Nov 27, 2026 for a relaxing paddle of 2 hours or so gliding along this enchanting creek. BE SURE to ARRIVE EARLIER to be ready to launch at 10 AM.The creek becomes a narrow mangrove tunnel. PLEASE BE AN EXPERIENCED ENOUGH PADDLER TO NAVIGATE THROUGH A MANGROVE TUNNEL.

Kayak owners will launch next to the kayak renters on the grassy beach area to the left of the concession store, where the roped off swimming area used to be. Drive your car down the dirt path that says Service Enployees Only, to drop off your kayak, then drive back to park in the lot.

LIMIT 14 due to narrow paddling space in the creek area.If you can not make it please change you RSVP status to Not Going to allow others, as there is a waitlist.

This is a trip you will really enjoy, and, you can find out about our club too.
