God Speed John Glenn

About this event

John Glenn was more than an astronaut and a senator; he was the embodiment of the "Right Stuff" and one of the last true American legends. While the world knew him as a spaceflight pioneer and a dedicated statesman, few saw the man behind the silver suit and the Senate desk. In this intimate presentation, former U.S. Senate staffer, Mark Goldstein, shares a unique perspective from his six years working closely with Glenn. Beyond the storied heroics, Goldstein reveals the simple charm, character, and sharp humor that defined Glenn’s private life. Join us for a journey through a bygone era of service, filled with personal anecdotes and "behind-the-curtain" stories of a hero who truly reached for the stars. This event is also available virtually.
